It has been a while since I have posted. I have been very busy with commissioned paintings, moving, and class. However, I found time to do what I love most. I found an abstract painting of dancers with long colorful dresses. This inspired me to make this watercolor painting. The dancers dresses reminded me of a peacocks tail, so I had to incorporate in this painting; plus I love peacocks. This painting is available for sale at my Etsy store at this link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/192445893/original-watercolor-painting-peacock?ref=shop_home_active_1
I am extremely excited to announce that one of my peacock paintings was published on People.com. I have been painting peacocks for several years now and I do not plan on stopping any time soon. These birds are extremely beautiful with vibrant colors. They are also astonishing since male peacocks are the ones that are colorful and beautiful. They use this beauty in order to attract a mate. Their courtship dance is a part of their charm as well. It is also interesting to know that they perform this dance in the same location yearly until they find their mate.
